Estar en la quietud del cuerpo en realidad es escuchar todo lo que se sigue moviendo dentro, todo este engranaje que nos mantiene en pie continúa funcionando. Cuando hablamos de silencio hablamos en realidad de la escucha de todo aquello que sigue sonando.
La Fuga que proponemos parte del cuerpo quieto, de atender a todo lo que continúa y de utilizar nuestros recursos físicos, la voz y el cuerpo, para extenderlo hacia fuera, para ser canal de huesos, músculos, aire y fluidos.
Y, ¿no sería maravilloso hacer de todo eso que está apretujado dentro, de todo lo que está en la oscuridad de dentro del cuerpo, de todo lo invisible, que no podemos tocar, una música que poder bailar? ¿Y a qué sonaría? ¿Y qué sería todo aquello?
Fuga es una pieza que trata de colocarse en un lugar intermedio entre lo que entendemos por concierto y lo que entendemos por representación escénica de danza. A través de un dispositivo que se acerca al trabajo con el loop, en el que se añaden, quitan y modifican capas sonoras, Jose Pablo Polo utiliza los sonidos que nosotros, Lamperfecta, generamos en directo, llevándolos a la composición musical, con un gusto por lo electrónico.
Un diálogo también entre la voz y el cuerpo, donde se desdibuja el motor, donde lo uno es consecuencia y a la vez impulso de lo otro.

To be in the stillness of the body is really to listen to all that is still moving inside, all this gear that keeps us going. When we speak of silence we are really talking about listening to everything that continues to sound.
The Fuga that we propose starts from the still body, from attending to everything that continues and from using our physical resources, the voice and the body, to extend it outwards, to be a channel for bones, muscles, air and fluids.
And wouldn't it be wonderful to make all that is cramped inside, all that is in the darkness inside the body, all that is invisible, that we can't touch, into music that we can dance to? And what would it sound like? And what would it all be?
Fuga is a piece that tries to place itself in an intermediate place between what we understand as a concert and what we understand as a dance performance. Through a device that is close to working with the loop, in which sound layers are added, removed and modified, Jose Pablo Polo uses the sounds that we, Lamperfecta, generate live, taking them to the musical composition, with a taste for electronics.
A dialogue also between the voice and the body, where the engine is blurred, where one is the consequence and at the same time the impulse of the other.
